COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

These Community Guidelines apply to live rooms, chat, votes, Reels, and other use of Debateor.com. They form part of the Terms of Service. If these Guidelines and the Terms conflict, the Terms control.

Debateor is a live, user-generated debate platform in a campus / short-video / street-debate style. It is not a formal debate between politicians. The Operator does not take a political side and does not filter lawful political speech.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be 18 or older to create an account, enter a room, or use the Service.

If the Operator learns that an account belongs to a person under 18, the account is closed. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. What a room is

A room is a live public debate with video, audio, and text. Typical tools:

  • crowd vote
  • host-controlled timer
  • raise-hand speaker queue
  • room chat

“On Air” is a list of rooms that are live now. It is not an official platform broadcast. The Operator does not endorse what is said in a room.

Users with a channel may have a permanent branded room. Those rooms still follow these Guidelines.

The Operator does not place a staff moderator in every room. The first layer of order is the host or Titan of that room.

3. Lawful speech is allowed

Lawful speech is allowed, including speech that is harsh, unpopular, or offensive.

The limit is Israeli law, not a house political code. The Operator does not mute or ban a user because of lawful political opinion.

4. What is forbidden

You may not use the Service to do anything Israeli criminal, privacy, or intellectual-property law forbids, including:

Crime

  • terrorism, promotion of a terrorist organization, or incitement to terrorism
  • incitement to racism, violence, or terror under the Penal Law, including sections 144ב and 144ד2
  • child sexual abuse material, including obscene material involving a minor (section 214(ב))
  • public publication of obscenity where section 214(א) forbids it

Privacy and doxxing

  • publishing another person’s private contact details, ID number, or other personal data without a lawful basis
  • pulling a private person into a room, or publishing a private image of them, in order to humiliate them
  • using another person’s name, image, or voice to sell something without their consent

Appearing in a public room you chose to join is not “doxxing.” Other people in that room can see and hear you.

Recording

  • you may not secretly intercept a private conversation
  • a public room is a broadcast to the people in it
  • hosts and authorized Titan users may use the Service’s own recording and Reels tools as described in the Terms and the Privacy Policy
  • you may not use the Service to wiretap people who are not broadcasting to that room

Intellectual property

  • you may not play or stream copyrighted music, video, or other works you do not have the right to use
  • you may not clip another user’s performance except through the host/Titan tools and the license in the Terms

Abuse of the Service

  • spam, flooding, malware, hacking, or denial-of-service attacks
  • impersonating another person, a Titan, or the Operator
  • opening another account to dodge a mute, room block, or account close
  • using extra accounts or bots to stuff the crowd vote
  • threatening a specific person with violence or other criminal harm

5. Hosts and Titans

In their room, a host or authorized Titan may mute, run the timer, manage the queue, kick or room-block a user, appoint a room moderator, and start recording or Reels if those tools are available.

They may use those tools to keep speaking time and order, and to stop conduct that is forbidden in section 4.

They may not use those tools to impose a political ban or to mute lawful speech because they dislike the viewpoint. That is the same limit that applies to the Operator.

A Titan is not an employee or agent of the Operator.

6. Reports

Use the in-app report tools. Reports go to Admin Central.

The Operator may block a room, suspend an account, or remove content after a valid report of illegal conduct. No response-time SLA is published. Illegal content is handled as Israeli law requires.

7. Recording and Reels

Rooms are not recorded automatically. Recording is best-effort and only if a host or authorized Titan turns it on.

Only the host or an authorized Titan can create Reels with the Service’s tools.

By speaking or appearing in a room you grant the license set out in the Terms of Service so the Operator and that room’s authorized host or Titan can host, display, and clip the stream.

How long files are stored is set in the Privacy Policy.

8. Gifts and paid roles

A paid role, subscription, or virtual gift does not buy a right to break these Guidelines. Paid users follow the same rules as free users.

If an account is closed for a violation, unused paid items are handled under the Terms and under Israeli consumer-protection rules where those rules apply.

9. Enforcement

The Operator may warn, mute, room-block, suspend, or close an account. Action depends on how serious the violation is. There is no promised review timetable.
